Your data security matters to us. Your account and trading data is stored in a database hosted within the European Union. This page explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
1. Overview
Tradeagle is operated by Oliver-Emanuel Götz (Götz Kleingewerbe), Hohenkreuzweg 42, 73732 Esslingen am Neckar, Germany (see "Who is responsible" below for full contact details). We collect data you give us directly (e.g. your email when you register) and data generated automatically as you use the service (e.g. the trades you sync, technical logs). We use it to run Tradeagle, generate your Eagle AI reports, and process payments - never for advertising, and we never sell it. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time; see "Your rights" below for the full list.
2. Hosting
Our application and database are hosted on servers located within the European Union. Certain supporting infrastructure (for example, the hosting behind this website) may run outside the EU/EEA; where that is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Legal basis for processing
We process your data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO), to meet legal obligations such as retaining billing records (Art. 6(1)(c)), and, where relevant, based on our legitimate interest in keeping Tradeagle secure and reliable (Art. 6(1)(f)). Where we ever rely on your consent instead, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Storage duration
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and delete it within a reasonable period after you close your account - except where we're legally required to retain certain records (e.g. billing data) for longer.
International transfers
Some of the service providers we use to run Tradeagle (see "Sharing" below) may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the US. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your data at any time by emailing oe.goetz@gmail.com. Where processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)), you have the right to object to it at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 DSGVO). If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
4. Data we collect
Account and trading data
Your email and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), the trading data you log or sync from a connected MT5 account, your subscription status, and support messages you send us.
Broker connection data
If you connect an MT5 account, we store the broker server, login, and the read-only investor password for that account - encrypted, and never your main trading password.
Eagle AI
To generate your weekly Eagle AI report, aggregated performance metrics and a curated sample of your trades are sent to a third-party AI processing provider.
Technical / server log data
Like most web services, our servers automatically log technical data on every request: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, time of the request, and IP address. This is used only to operate and secure the service (Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO) and is not combined with other data about you.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Analytics and advertising
We do not use website analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tools of any kind on Tradeagle. Nothing about your visit is tracked for marketing purposes.
6. Payments
Subscription payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. When you subscribe, your payment details are submitted directly to that processor and are never stored on our servers - we only keep your subscription status and plan. Processing is based on the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO).
7. Sharing
We share data only with the trusted service providers needed to run Tradeagle - for hosting, payments, broker connectivity, AI processing, and technical monitoring - each receiving only what it needs to do its job. We don't share your data for any other purpose, and we never sell it.
8. Other
Tradeagle is not directed at anyone under 18. We may update this policy occasionally; the date above reflects the latest version.
